Frequently asked questions
Why would I need a hand sanitiser?
The World Health Organisation (WHO) states that the number one way to prevent the spread of germs is by hand washing. Unfortunately, that is not always convenient. This product does not replace hand washing; but it is the next best thing. Kindr sanitiser's antibacterial and antimicrobial solution kills germs instantly whilst also moisturising the skin, thereby helping to prevent the spread of disease.
Why is alcohol free significant?
Various research studies show that alcohol based hand sanitisers can actually increase the number of bacteria on the skin the more they are used. Alcohol is a solvent that strips away oils that are important for water retention, and dries out the skin when it evaporates. This drying effect causes chapping of the skin, creating cracks and crevices where germs may become trapped or hidden.
Why is alcohol so bad for my skin?
Alcohol may strip the skin of the outer layer of oil, which may have negative effects on the barrier function of the skin. Continued use of alcohol gels has been seen to dry out the skin so badly that it cracks and bleeds.
What are the active ingredients in Kindr sanitiser?
The active ingredients are:
Why is 99.999% significant?
If a 99.9% effective cleaning product is being used on an area with 1,000,000 bacteria it would leave behind 1000 bacteria once disinfected. As bacteria multiply you could be left with 64,000 bacteria just 2 hours after disinfecting the area.
Is Kindr sanitiser safe to use on my children’s hands?
Completely safe. Kindr is non-toxic and contains zero alcohol, making it neither dangerous nor flammable unlike alternative alcohol based sanitisers.
The Kindr Company sanitisers patented formula is safe to use on the whole family.
Will repeated use of Kindr sanitisers soften my skin?
Studies show that users have experience softer skin with frequent use of Kindr sanitiser products. Kindr has been scientifically developed and formulated to be highly compatible with the skin. It does not break down the skin's natural barrier, unlike ingredients found in alternative products, but instead complements that barrier.
Skin becomes softener with repeated product use, as Kindr rehydrates instead of drying out.
How does the Flairosol work?
Flairosols deliver a continuous spray covering large areas quickly, evenly and in all directions using a fine mist, that will leave surfaces slightly damp as it kills the bacteria and viruses, drying quickly and leaving all areas sterilised. No need to wipe or remove.
Flairosols can be refilled with the 500ml pouch or 5L canister Kindr liquid solution, which can be safely dispensed on all surfaces including fabrics and electronics.
Does Kindr foaming hand sanitiser work better with repeated use?
In short, yes. Kindr foaming hand sanitiser has been proven to show increased effectiveness with repeated use. This is in contrast to alcohol-based sanitisers which show reduced effectiveness with repeated use. Whereas repeated use of alcohol creates skin crevices that can harbour germs, repeated use of the Kindr foaming hand sanitiser actually improves skin texture, which in turn makes it progressively harder for germs to breed.
How much of the Kindr foaming hand sanitiser needs to be used?
An approximate amount of 1-2 squirts, or whatever provides good coverage is sufficient to produce the desired effect. We find that children like to use lots more as they enjoy the foaming effect on their skin.
